What is Stellar SelfCheckout?
It is the self-service mode of Stellar POS that lets customers scan products, pay and receive an invoice. It connects with store operations and Stellar BUSINESS according to configuration.
Is there an additional software cost?
The brochure offers SelfCheckout at no additional software cost for eligible Stellar POS customers. Activation depends on version and configuration. Implementation, hardware, peripherals and integrations are quoted for each project.
Which payment methods does it support?
The brochure lists support for up to 16 payment methods. Those available in your store depend on the country, enabled integrations and hardware. The system electronically verifies payment before completing the purchase.
Can it include a scale and scanner?
Yes. A station can be configured with a scale/scanner, bag holders and a packing counter. A stand with trays is also available. Components are selected for the space and project.
How are operations requiring authorization controlled?
Critical operations are restricted to users with supervisor permissions. Permissions and enabled processes are configured for each store.
